The Coles Merchandise Team has unique opportunities for self-motivated and highly organised individuals to take on important roles within our Dairy, Deli & Bakery categories. These are crucial business role supporting our merchandise team by administering, analysing and assisting with category sales strategy, promotional plans and customer plans.

These varied roles will see you responsible for the reporting and analysis of category sales data, analytical support for business cases, analysis to support category ranging decisions, data integrity and maintenance and ongoing ad hoc support, assisting in the delivery of our weekly offer for our stores and customers. You will provide you the opportunity to liaise with key business stakeholders, acting as a contact point for issues and queries on behalf of the team.

Your success will be measured by your ability to successfully support our team in the smooth administration of the category. You will have a sound knowledge of merchandise principles and exhibit a high attention to detail in everything that you do. You will be analytically focused, able to prepare business cases and have a strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of relevant merchandise systems including RMS, RPM, CSR and BIW will give you the ideal background for this role. Whilst not essential previous experience or knowledge of fresh food categories will be highly regarded.
