Based in Melbourne, our category marketing team has created a number of exciting new positions for experienced trade / category marketing professionals. You will be responsible for the development and execution of initiatives and plans for your category that deliver against the category marketing strategy, which will incorporate the development of the category customer proposition and the development and planning of marketing activities. Working closely with key merchandise stakeholders you will ensure category-marketing plans are in line with merchandise category strategies. You will also analyse relevant customer and sales data and utilise market research to understand consumer/shopping insights and develop effective category marketing plans.

To succeed in these roles you will be a talented and experienced Category Development Manager, Marketing Manager or Shopper/Trade Marketing Manager with a background within the retail and/or FMCG industry. Your ability to think strategically and act tactically will see you develop and implement successful category marketing plans that significantly add to the development of your category. Your ability to engage with stakeholders across the business will be critical to your success. You will be commercially minded with the confidence and ability to make decisions and drive strategies that supports relevant business initiatives.
