We are currently seeking Casual Sales Assistants to join our team at Liquorland in Darwin (Mitchell Street).

As a Sales Assistant working at Liquorland your key focus will be on providing customers with superior levels of service, as and when they need it. So the ability to work without supervision to complete tasks is important.  Naturally, we’re looking for confident team players with great communication skills, a flexible approach and neat personal presentation.

The successful applicant will display the following selection criteria:

•  Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills
•  Must be flexible and available to work across all store operating hours (including weekends). 
•  Enjoy working within a team environment
•  Well organised with the ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
•  Maturity to enforce legislated 18plus sale restrictions
•  Sound Cash handling skills and register experience
•  Have a strong willingness to learn and train to acquire skills to improve performance
•  Physical ability to perform heavy, repetitive lifting duties as required

NOTE:  Previous sales experience in liquor or general retail/hospitality experience would be an advantage.
